- Frequently asked questions -

Do you travel?
-
Yes! I travel all over for weddings. I am currently in Central New York, and I travel at cost of my packages within the North East (contact me for exact locations). I also will fly to your wedding at the cost of the flight, hotel, and rental vehicle if needed. No additional package fee. I have flown to multiple other states to cover weddings. I do destination weddings as well!

Do you shoot in JPEG or Raw?
-
I always shoot in raw. Shooting in RAW gives you highest Level of Quality, and editing is easier and more effective. I will then deliver your photos in JPEG/PNG format.

Do you offer additional coverage over your 8 hour package?
- I do! I offer additional hours at the following pricing: 9th hour = $200, 10th hour = $300, 11th hour = $400, etc..

What equipment do you use?
I shoot with TWO Canon 6D Mark II’s. My go to lens is almost always my Canon 70-200mm f2.8. I swap to my Canon 24-70mm f2.8. I also have smaller lenses such as my 24mm f1.8 and my 50mm f1.8.

What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?
- When your allotted time is up, I will make sure I talk with you prior to leaving I want to make sure we get everything you desire. After all, we cannot go back and take these photos again. I always plan for the entire day to be dedicated to your wedding. Whether that involves travel, prep, or extending the time, I am all yours on your day. We can work it out.

When should we do our engagement session?
- A lot of times, couples use their engagement session photos for their “save the date” cards. I would suggest doing your engagement session no later than 9 months out, to assure you get your save the date cards out on time.

Do you bring extra camera gear with you?
- I ALWAYS have a second camera on me, with multiple batteries and SD cards, multiple lenses. Rest assure, I will have multiples of everything on your wedding day. In addition to those, I will bring external flashes for any low light situations.

What is the “print credit” you offer in your packages?
- The print credit that is offered in most of my packages is a credit that you can apply towards getting anything printed. This can be anything from save the dates and invitations, table cards, thank you cards, signage for décor, to actual physical prints of your photos, whether those be regular prints, or canvas or metal prints. You can even do leather bound albums!

What do you do if your client is from out of town?
- Good question! If you guys are from out of town, I will make sure that if you come in town, I am available for your visit. If you aren’t going to be in town prior to your wedding day, I will make sure you are 100% comfortable. We can video chat, text, and talk whenever. I am available to you any day.

Do you offer a second photographer?
-
Yes! My top package come with a second photographer. With the other four, it is just me. A second photographer is available for those three packages at an additional $50/hour.

How many weddings do you photograph per year?
- Generally, I try not to do more than 2-3 a month. I believe that when you commit to doing photography for a wedding, you need to be fully committed. During weddings, I take thousands of photos. It takes time to go through these photos and edit them. I want to be able to solely focus on your day and allot the proper time to editing your pictures.

Will you give me black and white photos too?
- I LOVE black and white photos. I will always include some in your package. A lot of times, I will give you the same photo in both black and white and in color. This way you can choose which one you like best. But I do adore black and white photos.

How do you know what photos to get?
-
I will discuss with you your must haves. In reality, any wedding photographer should know what photos are key. If there are photos that you want to make sure are captured, for example, photos with certain guests at the wedding… you can put these in the contract for me.

What are some photos I should think about capturing?

- Some photos and key moments to think about are:

• First looks with bridesmaids, groomsmen, your father, your fiancé. .

• Dress/Suit photos hanging prior to getting dressed.

• Photos with specific family members or friends aside from generic family photos.

• Special moments during the reception.

Do you offer payment plans?
- I require 50% to be put down for the deposit to hold and lock in your date, securing it so no one else can book it. Depending on how far out your wedding date is, you are welcome to make payments on that 50% over 6 months, and either continue to make payments or pay the balance at your wedding.
